So Boston, is the capital of Massachusetts, and I live in Massachusetts.  Well, originally Massachusetts was a colony to the north of here, or at least the colonial period for my people, well the English, in the 1600's, and here was Plymouth Colony.  In many ways I think of here where I live right now, Swansea on the west bank of the Taunton River looking east, as a Portuguese Colony in many ways.  It's mostly Portuguese people around here and Miguel Corte Real explored this area in the early 1500's, if not late 1400's.  I just don't get a very English feel around here.  I definitely don't get much of a Wampanoag feel around here.  I much prefer the English feel, the Germanic Celtic Gaulish feel.

I think about long time ago France when I think about Gaul, not necessarily Germanic or Celtic.
